Otis Posted July 26, 2005 Report Posted July 26, 2005 good friend of mine has an 04 Titan quad cab with the "off road" package. It's actually a pretty nice ride...roomy interior. lotta get up and go under the hood, tows fairly well. The stock E-lockers are a nice touch too. The only thing i didn't like about it, is the fact that you can't close the tailgate with a bike in the back(Z400)..other then that, it's a really nice truck!....i think wallrat has one .... Quote

Check out www.titantalk.com if you wanna find out loads of info on em. Dunes pretty damn good. I had it out at Glamis and got 'er stuck eventually. But only cuz I was doing shit I shouldn't have been doing. My only complaint is the stock stance looks odd IMO with the front end being 2" lower than the rear. A company called PRG makes a leveling kit to fix that though, the owner is a member on titantalk. locogato11283 Posted July 26, 2005 Report Posted July 26, 2005 this is the only truck worth buying...when i bought my cbr600 f4i we took my dads truck to go pick it up. it was exactly a 4 hour drive. we hadto stop 2.5 hours into it for gas and then about 1.5 hours again on the way back. so about 100 bucks in fuel not including what we left with. all the way down it wasa totally unloaded truck, on the way back my 375 pound bike. here a few weeks ago i went on a camping trip with the gf to a place 4.5 hrs away. i took my 450, 15 gallons of diesel fuel, my tool box that weighs several hundred pounds and the cab fully loaded with shit. i didnt even use half a tank a fuel in 4.5 hours with my truck all loaded. gas is junk in my opinion... I usually get around 14-15mpg with mixed city/hwy driving plus a slight lead foot problem. Some guys have managed to get around 21mpg hwy after replacing the intake/exhaust and a few other mods. I pull a 1000 gallon water trailer full of water no problem whatsoever, a 27 ft boat, etc. It gets about 10 mpg haulin ass in the city all day, about 12 tops on highway... but its worth every cent, especially with that big block sound coming out of the flowmaster..
