it has 2 calipers on each front wheel, and a different master cylinder(looks like a road bike one). The brakes are awesome!!

My friend was wondering where he could get front hubs like it so he could have a twin caliper setup.Does anyone know of where they can be found?

I don't know why,I bought it like that,You can lock the front wheels with light pressure from one finger! they are a bit much really especially with the braided lines,I'm going to try the std master cylinder to see if it gives a bit more contol,

I think once my friend rides it he will change his mind,I must be honest though I had a completely stock banshee before this and thought the brakes weren't really up to much,Just need to find the right balance.

If you were running that on the road with street tires that would kick ass. But say in dirt, where the tire locks up easily, once the tire is locked, it doesn't matter how many calipers you have. Pretty trick though. I've thought of doing it, but on the rear as the front is a bit exposed for me. Wouldn't want to smash into something and bust one of those calipers up. If it leaks, all the front brakes are gone.

Definately an old DR PDV bike. They used this setup to keep tems down in long high speed situations.

Probably a little much for normal riding, but if you pushed it for a while, it would be worth it.

You want to trade for a stock setup?

I need more front brakes!! I'm thinkin of gettin a better master cylinder. Or using streetbike calipers...somethin..stock front brakes are a little weak.

i think its fuckin cool. and maybe if you had a master cylinder from say a 1000rr, that would push some fluid. motulmonsta, i see no reason it wouldnt work so long as you got the correct size banjo nut(s) on your brake line(s).
