Fatty Jetting

I have a K&N Air Filter With Outerwear, Airbox Lid On, Snorkel Removed. I have FMF Fattys With Powercore Silencers. I was Wondering If Anybody Is Running This Setup And What Mains There Using And Pilots And Clip Position Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I Am 927 Feet Above Sea Level. I have four 1 inch by 1 inch holes cut in the airlid.

Mine at sealevel: Fattys + K&N no lid

 

300~320mains depending on temp and humidity

27.5 pilots

airscrew 1.5~ 2 turns out depending...

needle in the middle

No probs, it's a starting point at best, you have to do the fine tuning yourself.

Same as J.J.'s jetting except run 280 mains since you have the airbox lid on.

270 w/ the lid on, needle 4th clip from the blunt end, stock pilots..

when I bougt fattys long time ago fmf said 260 mains and 30 pilots Iit ran good at all rpms. do some plug readings when you get it broke in

I have the same setup but im running with lid on but no snorkel. i have 260 mains and stock pilot and clip. it runs very well no fouling or hesitation through out the entire rpm's. useing hc1 @ 40:1 im at 1200 above sea level hope this helps

Just buy individual jets. The jet kits hardly ever have what you really need and they're too expensive. Just buy main jets from 270 to 310 and a 27.5 pilot and you'll be set, until you get it ported.

 

I'm guessing 270 to 280 on the main as well with the lid on.

Take airbox lid off and put 280 -300 mains, needle in the 4rth clip position, stock pilot jet like 1 turn out from seated.

 

 

With lid on and no snorkle:

260 mains
