Yaxy Posted January 11, 2005 Report Posted January 11, 2005 Does anyone know what the differnce between the banshee crankcases and the RZ crankcases are. From what I was always tod they are exactly the same. On the RZ motor I bought I noticed that some idiot decided to pound in a crank seal instead of splitting the cases to change it. The inner part of the case doesn't look bad but the outer seal part looks pretty beat up. I looked under a vendors catalog and they wanted $721.00 for RZ Cases and $480.00 for banshees. If Banshee case are the same where is the best place to buy a new set? Chris Quote
broke Posted January 11, 2005 Report Posted January 11, 2005 Nyuk or Ebay. They aren't exactly the same, but Banshee cases work fine with RZ jugs, the tach won't have any place to hook to though. Quote

All the componentes in the RZ except for the crank case is in perfect condition and was curious if I could take all the RZ guts out and put them into a set of banshee cases. I have torn apart both and I don't recall there beign any differnces. Chris Quote

I do not consider myself to be an expert by a long shot, but I have one motor with RZ jugs on a Banshee bottom end running right now, with a stroker being built as money allows. Meat had a great section going for RZ's, but I don't know if he ever got the motor running or not. Quote
