STLBILL Posted January 7, 2005 Report Posted January 7, 2005 Hi everyone: Well, after reading about a dozen posts ragging on the dealership owners and the prices they charge I ALMOST feel bad. I would really like to see an official response. Here is one for you guys that is kind of relevant: I just bought a new Honda Pilot. Hmm, I just realized they make a dune buggy and a car/suv with the same name. Anyway, this is the car/suv I am talking about. The dealership wanted $800 for the trailer hitch kit and $380 to install it. I did some looking on the Internet and found three web sites run by Honda dealerships that sell factory Honda parts for cheap. I found the same exact trailer hitch kit for about $550. This includes the hitch, wiring harness, transmission cooler and power steering cooler. Unfortunately I still have to pay the local dealership labor rate but $300 saved is still $300 in my pocket. banshee0044 Posted January 7, 2005 Report Posted January 7, 2005 you guys with them 3000 stolen banshees are sick in the head..i can get hot raptors, banshees, street bikes, dirt bikes for around a grand..no way in hell would i pay that much for a stolen quad i had a hot cr 250 whci hi payyed 350 for..and traded it heads up for an 03 banshee that was hot..if u can get 3000 grand for on ill drive out there and steal with you haha ps...i have never stolen anything.i just find good deals Quote

But then again, the more you steal from a corp., the higher the prices will get to pay pay for the stolen shit. Put that in your smipe and poke it. If people wouldn't pay for it they wouldn't sell it. And when you buy stolen stuff and get caught you don't get a refund, but you might get a place to stay with meals if you knew it was stolen. Quote

I have been watching the post through the site and i agree with you all .Except the f#^$& theifs. I started this biz just because of what all of you are talking about. Im trying to keep prices down on most of the stuff but, the fenders???? #1 carbon costs me big$$$$$$$ # 2 The pre preg molds that im trying to build cost 30 K each. When i get them to that stage the cost will drop.my cost is high and i don't make much coin off them.But who else makes drag fenders that weigh 3lbs 4 oz?????????????????????? Quote
