Schizo Posted November 15, 2004 Report Posted November 15, 2004 It all depends on what kind of airfilter setup you are using....when i had my t-5's on with dual k&n's i had 340 mains and 30 pilots at sea level. Quote
locogato11283 Posted November 15, 2004 Report Posted November 15, 2004 yes youll definetely need to go bigger. did you just get reed petals or is this a whole reed block? if its just petals id say try some 300s to be safe. you are gonna get better air flow just not as good as if you had the whole aftermarket reed block. if you got a reed block id say somewhere arouns 320 for a start. those would be pretty good estimates for 1000 feet above sea level anyway. FIRST BANSHEE Posted November 15, 2004 Report Posted November 15, 2004 Welcome I agree with loco.300-320 on the mains Quote
Banchetta Posted November 16, 2004 Report Posted November 16, 2004 I'd run it w/ the mains you have now and do a plug test. If anything you might have to lean the needle one notch. Usually the reeds will make the shee run richer on the needle circuit. Quote
lincster Posted November 16, 2004 Report Posted November 16, 2004 Need to add what air filter setup you are running. You may be lean now and don't know it. Quote

Even the paperwork that came with the reeds said that it makes your engine run a little rich and you might need to drop mains 1-2 sizes depending on your setup. Quote
