holy crap. umm, me thinks there's something wrong with this picture. Right one looks lean and left one looks pretty beat up. Id rebuild em in the near future and get a new mechanic. :blink:

Motor doesn't look all that old...but what's up with the Left side?? You forget to put in the rings or somthing??

If I remember correctly you only had 3 tanks of gas run through this motor. It looks ok to me,

It looks like your .060 over, I believe .080 over on a banshee is max. w/o running into overheating problems.

i have no idea i just bought it 3 weeks ago.

 

btw the rod snapped so i need a new crank and a new topend

 

bot didn't excpect all this when i bought it

 

but all i'm asking is does the right side piston look ideal jetting wise? it looks like it is to me. obviously i know the left is fucked

Sleeve job? Those look like coolhead dome o-rings on the top of the cylinders.

 

The jetting looks pretty close, maybe a little on the lean side but not by much. As far as bore size, I have a set of cylinder at .090 over and have never had overheating issues. is the left cylinder gouged at all? It doesn't take a bad crank long to ruin a good bore.

sending the crank out to be rebuilt tommorow, ordered one sleeve, also ordered complete topend kit, and new oil seals

 

boy this is starting to cost some serious change
