23champ Posted October 16, 2004 Report Posted October 16, 2004 yea those are the ones i have i think. neither one made any bit of difference. wheres the closest dyno at anyway??? The taper is not what i'm looking for. tapper is 1/4 to 3/4 throttle. I'm lookin for 1/8 to 1/4 which is diameter. But i dont know if I should go leaner or richer. I guess I'll just have to buy both. Proquad101 Posted October 18, 2004 Report Posted October 18, 2004 I used a guys dyno in wichita, his name is Kevin Helt. I dont remember the price but it was pretty cheap. I have his card, if you want his phone # send me a pm and I will give it to ya. There is also a dyno here in Tulsa if that would be any closer. Quote
Travis's Banshee Posted October 18, 2004 Report Posted October 18, 2004 A passin motor on Lonnies dyno. HHHHMMMMM that'd be interesting. Quote
Proquad101 Posted October 18, 2004 Report Posted October 18, 2004 If he will ever call me back mine will be there with about 3 or 4 different pipes doing some runs. I have to put some new clutch springs in before I take it. Quote

Proquad101 Posted October 18, 2004 Report Posted October 18, 2004 Lonnie gets to see the bike run, he doesnt get to look in the motor. Jim is going to be there with me. Quote
Travis's Banshee Posted October 18, 2004 Report Posted October 18, 2004 The way my sandtraxx motor runs, I don't think Lonnie really needs to look inside. Quote
Big Blue Posted October 18, 2004 Report Posted October 18, 2004 i took mine up there a about a month ago and had some tuning done. Quote

Justintoxicated Posted October 18, 2004 Report Posted October 18, 2004 thats crazy that you guys are running 22CC domes and complaining about bottem end...What is your compression? how often have you changed the spark plugs when re-jetting? Quote
jinx44 Posted October 18, 2004 Report Posted October 18, 2004 It isn't all of the missouri motors that are having problems. My passion +4 runs well. I do think it is a missouri issue though. It seems jetting around here is totally different than other parts of the nation. I run 35PWK's with 50 pilots and 150 mains CGL's for needles. This is for circle track with extended WOT. Guys, TRY THE CGL'S!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! For the record, I have tried MANY domes. Jim can testify for this. Many different squishes, amounts of compression, shapes, etc. They pretty much just affected the overrev of the engine. I never have lost bottom end. It pulls very hard even from the bottom. Jim, why does Kabina get a set of X-3's? Wheres mine? I'll give you a dyno test of them vs. my set that will be done in MI. Call me and we can talk about it. Jim and Jack, why don't you come over this way and we can all go to the dyno at Paducah. Its a very nice place with two very good tuners that run it. I know the guys well. We can also dyno my TT bike that will have the last set of cylinders I got from you. Also, there is a new set of lectrons that I bought waiting for me at this shop and we can compare them to the PWK's that Jack and I run. This dyno does not give out big numbers though. Quote
