frocashmoney24 Posted August 20, 2004 Report Posted August 20, 2004 i was just about the say your filter, and once you get come coins, get some pipes, really wakes the shee up Quote
roosthrower Posted August 20, 2004 Report Posted August 20, 2004 Instead of buying a proflow kit, I just put some sylicon around the edges of the plate. Saved me whatever the proflow kit costs anyway. Just a suggestion. Quote
BdBanshee Posted August 20, 2004 Report Posted August 20, 2004 Take the snorkel off before you even start it! Quote
Toomey Banshee Posted August 20, 2004 Report Posted August 20, 2004 This is what I did to my 99 and in what order. I dont think I would change it. 1. Air Filter 2. Pipes 3. rear tires 4. increase compression, cool head w/smaller domes 5. Better reeds, i.e. V-Force. or port your own cages and run some carbon fiber reeds. 6. Give it to your son and buy a shee thats done. i.e. ported/polished, the works. Alot of people in here would add suspension upgrades at about the #3 or #4 mark of my list. I have wider a-arms in the front and a wider axle in the rear of my current shee as well as werks shocks up front, they make a hell of a difference, but I went with speed on the 99 first. Quote
