As a matter of fact, I'm gonna paint my phone line lime green...maybe I'll dial up at like 90K rather than 48.something...... But if you wanted to get MPH on one it wouldnt be hard at all. All they need to know is the OD of the roller on the rear wheels, and hook a sensor up to it to see how many times it spins around.. Same concept as hooking a speedometer up to your banshee. Measure the diameter of the wheel, input into the computer, and everytime the sensors line up means its gone the OD of the wheel.
