Theron Posted April 22, 2004 Report Posted April 22, 2004 I was wondering what you guys think is the best nerf bar for the money? What do you guys think of the DG Race Peg nerf bars, they are more expensive but are they worth it. Thanks in advance. Quote
THOR1 Posted April 22, 2004 Report Posted April 22, 2004 I know the AC dont fit on well and the pegs wear down quick! I wouldnt recommend them. Go with DG or Gibson. Quote
MotulMonsta Posted April 22, 2004 Report Posted April 22, 2004 DG makes the best nerfbars on the market. Quote
rebelbanshee2 Posted April 22, 2004 Report Posted April 22, 2004 i like my DGs only becasue they are the only kind that fit with blaster pegs...other thatn that they are junk, fitment is terrible Quote
Bird of Flames Posted April 26, 2004 Report Posted April 26, 2004 My Ac's were a pain to get on but are strong. My freinds Dgs bent to hell on is 400ex, thats the only reason i didnt go with them Quote
ledofthezep Posted April 26, 2004 Report Posted April 26, 2004 I really like my graydon proline nerfs...only thing I don't care for is the lack of heel guards. Quote
banshdog Posted April 27, 2004 Report Posted April 27, 2004 I have the AC Pro pegs, yes they were a pain to get on. but once they are on, i had no probs with them. Quote
sredish Posted April 27, 2004 Report Posted April 27, 2004 Honestly, I think they're all a PITA to get on and off, my DGs don't fit perfect, but once they're on they're fine. I got a new stator cover so I don't have to pull it every time I have a sprocket change or need to get to the flywheel. Quote
frocashmoney24 Posted April 27, 2004 Report Posted April 27, 2004 DG, but god damn are the nets harder then f*ck to change Quote
SICK BOY Posted April 27, 2004 Report Posted April 27, 2004 I have AC pro peg nerfs, and I like them. The pegs do wear faster then the DG's but they are as tough as nails. Quote
knight_ripper Posted May 3, 2004 Report Posted May 3, 2004 Me and my buddies all run AC pro peg nerfs. And I have to say that the AC's saved my friends life. He hit a pole with the right front A-Arm....took off the right side of the bumper...sheered off the a-arms...bolts and bushings were still on the frame. the tire and the rest of the stuff were hangin on by the brake line. Anyway, the pole hit the nerf bar and ricoched him off. You should see it....totally bent in....but didnt touch him or the peg. AC's for life for me. I have a pic somewhere.....lol. He didnt have a scratch on him. Quote
FastASSBANSHEE70 Posted May 4, 2004 Report Posted May 4, 2004 Ac racing standard nerfs are a pain in the ass to get on , but you can leave heel gaurds on . AC RACING !! Quote
bronco91shee Posted May 4, 2004 Report Posted May 4, 2004 kinda off topic, but i got a set of FREE answer R nerfs. it wasnt very hard to put them on, just had to change a few lil things. i luv them, they reach right up to my front tires, rub at full lock when suspension is compressed(they r very close). and in the rear i have like .75" b4 the bac tires.(but i got a -2 swingarm). With them being so large, there is no way ill ever miss them. i like their size way better than shee nerfs. just my p.o.v. peace out Quote
tenn banshee Posted May 11, 2004 Report Posted May 11, 2004 I have the AC pro pegs and agree that they are frustrating to install, but they are solid once there. I have never had a problem with mine and have had them for 3 yrs. Quote
