simple green is the way to go.

I will spray mine down with simple green and wait about 3 minutes then hose it off with water. Next, hit it with car wash concentrate and the mitt. Then I dry it off and start polishing the billet and wd40 on the cases and tire dressing on the tires and you are done. I also use furniture polish on the plastics.

instead of running rigid struts try to find some old shocks off a suzuki 230 quadrunner. They will keep your bike from slamming down on take off and will keep your bike riding low like struts do. I have tried it both ways and the 230 shocks are the way to go.

meat and wassup350 are right. The MSR is the way to go, and it wont hurt your back pocket. I bought the shorty and put it on the easiest pull setting and can pull no problem with 2 fingers. Plus it cleans up your bars by getting that parking brake crap off.

I have the works triple rates with rezzies and love them. I did spend the extra money and got the threaded adjustable preload so I could have some adjustability if I needed it. They are a huge improvement over the stock junk shocks.

I twisted the frame on my 99 and replaced it with an 03 black frame, guess my shee is now a "limited edition". Something I thought was interesting, the black frame was $200 cleaper than the silver (from the stealership). Figure that one out.

put razr 2's on the t-9 baja.

look on ebay for a hide a key plate. it relocates the key under the seat mounting with the 2 back gas tank bolts. it is an easy fix to clean up the bars.

the DS is way to heavy to be the king of the dunes. Nothing will ever be better in the sand than the shee.

I have a "dead lock" axle nut I bought off ebay and it still works its way loose. It is made of billet aluminum with 2 allen bolts to tighten it down when it is in place. I have tightened it up and put red loc tight on it and it works itself loose after a hard day of riding. I am afraid if I really torque down on it while tightening it that it will strip the threads since it is aluminum. You guys have any ideas on how to keep it tight. I am running a stock axle. Thanks for the help.

Has anyone had Works rebuild their rear shock? They seem to have a good price. $225

theres no substitute for a wheelie bar. You can come out of the hole wide open and never let out of it. Go up in your front sprocket to a 15 or a 16 if you have the motor to pull it and you will smoke him.

a friend of mine is running 15/40 gearing in the 1/8 mile. The bigger front sprocket helps him not to spin as bad off the line. He is running a wheelie bar and comes out of the hole wide open. We are going to a 16/38 next week. He is running 7.88 @ 84mph in the 1/8 with the 15/40 and still spinning and getting tire hop off the line.

I have the vito's heavy duty clutch and have had no problems with it.

I like mine. I ride them hard and have had no problems. I did get the adjustable preload so I could tweak them when I wanted to.

I have the AC pro pegs and agree that they are frustrating to install, but they are solid once there. I have never had a problem with mine and have had them for 3 yrs.

I have the thor t30's. They take a while to break in. Get some leather conditioner and apply a good coat then wear them around the house. My wife looked at me funny for a while, but it really helped break them in. Boots are the way to go. It is like anything else, it takes a while to adjust to something new.
