How Many Kicks?

1 time, 2 rarely, mine sat for 8 months with the motor out and with old gas in the cold weather it started 1st kick

It really depends on a lot, when your bikes are hot it takes most people 1 kick. But I have spent the better part of an hour on a cold bike, and other times that same bike has kicked right over. I would not get worried until you are forced to pull start, then you know something may be wrong.

lol.....my piston was some messed up...thats the only way to start mine....but now i am getting a piston kit and cylinders!

then i put my tether or key on and she fires right up first kick

lately, about 4-6 when cold, but fires on the 1st when warmed up. mine usually sits for at least a week at a time anymore though.

When its cold out it probably takes about 10 or so.But if its warm its about 3 or so.But when the engine is warm it starts 1st time everytime.

Is that number of kicks before or after I remember the "Run" switch?? Usually two after the switch.

for the very first start of the day mine starts second kick with choke, for the rest of the day its first time without choke unless iv left it for a good while

 

Same here,....if not, I start to get pissed.

Yup, 1-2 (now). If not, its usually cause the run switch or *secret* switch is off.
