  1. how bought.....can you put banshee shox on a 450? i got a set of tcs shocks and dont want to sell them with my quad if i can put the yfz stockers on my shee....

  4. i have a full 03 banshee with my mods in my sig....do you think it is possable to make my money($3500) that i was planning on sellin git for.. if you want anything let me know, i will see who and what i could get for all my stuff...i am not parting it out or selling things at the moment but if you guys give me a good idea what i could get then i prolly will.....
  5. if you live in the new england area you might be interested in my 2003 bashee. for mods it has...im getting the new yfz so i can do better.. i just need a thumoer for more low end, i will sell the quad with the tcs front shocks for 4000 other wise im asking 3500 with the yfz stock shocks... +3 +1 lonstar a arms tcs shocks duel rate zero preload($500 extra) pro desighn intake with no lid. pro circiut pipes razrs all round 4-1 offset douglous rolled edge front wheels lonstar -1 swingarm ac pro peg delta 2's reed system cut down seat, (better center gravity) teather kill.. tag bars and clamps .40 over vitos pistons pro disighn radiator if i mised anything well you can see it when you buy it. no pics but if your REALLY interested i can mail you pics. i can disribe it tho...its the 03 black and red, it has a cracked radiator cover, not too bad. cut fronts, its a flesh cut with the plastics. i mounted the resivoir up front in standard place. polished clutch covor. idk ask your questons.... im in a rush to sell it thats why its goin so damn cheap. -kevin
  6. i tried it and its a pain in the ass. i cant get drill bits that go up by .022 of a freain mm. you coud do it if you had the right size bits and it would be damn easy.

  8. would you take trades? i got a stock head, cdi, boysen rad valve, stock swing arm cut, stock pegs. pick out wat you need or want an ill see if its a good trade.

Im in the middle of getting my quad ready for my next race on the 16th of next month and i need MONEY. lol, how much can i sell my head for? its in mint condition and i have no use for it...so somone please buy it quick. and i guess im about ready to try to sell the swingarm again....cut 2 inches. please make offer. i will only exept money orders. also have a cdi that is brand new, i was bought this and a coil guessing what could be wrong with my electrical problem a while back, it wasnt and i payed too much for the cdi. like i said brand new and i think it was anywhere from 215-300. i would like to get 200 bucks for it unles i get a close enuff offer. i also have, boysen reeds and cage...make offer.

  11. i am getting port work done soon and will have my moter apart for a couple weeks. I have no reason to split the cases but maybe i should....just to have the crank welded? how mush would this cost, can i do it myself or have a expirienced welder do it, even if he has never done somthing like this before? is this just a bead or really welded? thanks...kevin

This post set me over the edge dude!!! i was being talked into getting a 450 for like the thousandth time and i read this post and decided to give the shee one mor chance for mx so i called up jm and talked to him, he explained everything. So tomorow i am sending my jugs to him(just got done pulling moter). i am getting his MX port and NOSS head with 20c domes. i cant fuckin wait, untill then it gives me plenty of time to make my quad mint. thats what i needed anyways was a look over and im ganan send my shift star to boonman soon to. haha i fuckin love it. im ganna have a whole new quad when its put back together!!!

  15. that could be your problem. check your cable where it V's off to the carbs and make sure there in there even.

  17. yea you can just go watch, alot of people do. you need teather switch, nerf bars, chest protector, pants, boots, jersy, number plates and they will give you a number but yoiu can buy them there, you have to join like 2 clubs, neatv, i dont kno the other but it came out to be like 150 bucks for my first race. this place is brutal, my whole front end felt like it was bone stock again. the track is all sand so you could imagine if you the 30th race not including practice what the track will be like i would highly suggest thumb throttle extendor. i made mine out of a stick and zip ties before my second race, the throttle feals lke the throttle with out a extendor at the end of the race

Was anybody there thats on this board?? well i was there today and saw a couple banshees! but i def had a ruff day for my first time that for sure...my first race i got tangled up pretty damn good with some guy on a crf450 in a 250r chassis or somthin like that. it was prolly the 8th corner and we were tangled pretty bad. had to pull hi wheel off to get it out from between my tire and nerf bar...it sucked. i was in like 3rd place at the time and easily could have passed the guys in front of me. then my second moto the first corner after the holshot some dude went sideways and i had no wher to go and i hit him pretty damn hard. i moved my quad back and took off like a fuckin bad out of hell. i was in 20th place and moved up to 3rd, i could hold third couse my throttle was stickin and wasnt runnin right at all. about that time i was pretty damn worn out anyways(couldnt pull in the cluth or shift). i managed to go back and forth between positions. lol i think i passed and got past by about 4 riders a million times(when it ran good i passed). i was told i finished in 6th all in all i was pretty happy witht he results. i learn some shit ill be able to use next time i go out. sorry for the long post...figured you guys would be interested. -kevin
  20. they are man, everything in synced, this makes noooo sense. also looking at the plugs makes me wonder too. the side that doesnt get as hot is like black and the white part liek inside the plug....forgot what its called...that stayed white when the other plug is brown!!! WTF
  21. yea i took out the pilot on the side it was cold and it was clogged bad, real bad. couldnt see through it at all. it runs wayy better now but it still doesnt get warm on that cylender as fast as the other does. I called my local mechanic and asked him for advise and he said dont worry about it if it runs fine!! yes it ran alot smoother after i cleaned out the pilot but i think im ganna pull both carbs again and see if i can find any more dirt. frocashmoney24 you have a pm.
  22. i just got cylenders bored and i got new pistons and just put them in, my problem is that my left pipe gets hotter and smokes more thatn the right, this happend before the bore so it has nothing to do with the motor, just the carbs. Well i need to know how to set the carbs so they both give a even amount of gas to the cylender? i tried to adjust the floats and i did that 3 different times never setting them to 20-22mm like the book manual says but just to make them even and i seem to be goin no where!! someone please give me some advise quick i have a race sunday and i still have to break in this motor..... thanks in advance -kevin
