I think it depends on which way you look at it. I see the air box and throttle cable not as 2 into 1, but 1 into 2.

I think the 2in 1 carb is a good idea, because less jetting and less time working and more time riding . But the 2in1 pipe i think is dumb, because you are loosing flow

The 2 into 1 Carb is awesome its saves a lot of time with jetting and all. However i dislike 2 into 1 pipes. I love the twin pipes, its something that only banshees have. 2 into 1 pipes do give u a lot more bottom end though, I believe. Good for trail riding.

I agree with bkabina, if you want only 1 carb or 1 pipe, then get a yfz,z/kfx/dvx or a raptor. don't get a shee if u want to change everything around.

Eh, everything has its place. When all is said and done, the only twin thing that *really* matters is the engine itself. The others just enhance it. For the folks that like more low end, the 2-1 carb or pipe setup is spiffy.

 

I agree in my own roundabout way that keeping everything twin is great cause I like a screamer of a quad... but to each their own!
