nyb Posted December 3, 2022 Report Posted December 3, 2022 just switched from inframes to oof pipes and the stinger is to close to the rear tire. is the stinger a tuned length or ok to trim a little length. stock frame and stock length swingarm. Quote
locogato11283 Posted December 3, 2022 Report Posted December 3, 2022 How much would you need to trim to accommodate tire growth? You will lose some RPM by shortening the stingers. They are that length for a reason. Why stock length? Buy a +2 arm and solve all your problems. Quote
nyb Posted December 4, 2022 Author Report Posted December 4, 2022 probably would have to trim 1-1/2" to be safe. i guess thats the way i will go longer swinger. stock length for better turning , i ride it in the woods sometimes. thanks Quote
SKEETER Posted December 4, 2022 Report Posted December 4, 2022 Chop a few inches off. Wont need the rpms for da woodz 💁♂️ Quote

Tedder Posted December 27, 2022 Report Posted December 27, 2022 I've been told by two builders who make pipes not to cut the singers any shorter than 10" Quote
