I think I mite have to come on here and cry about it not haveing $5000 in work done to it sometime. And if some time soon I get that work I think I'm guna be a dumbass and try to street race at twice the speed limit with it then come on here and cry about the "dumbass" cop thats "being a dick" and tryin to keep people safe. Ive saved up my money and..and...WORKED for it untill just recently i was able to buy a used mostly stock 97 shee. I put maybe 5 hours on it before discovering it needs a top end rebuild. Am I mad because I spent every last dime I had and now barely have enough to get it running just so i can ride it? NO! Iam glad to even have it. Dont get me wrong, parents buying there kids things is cool, my parents did it, most do. But there is a cut-off point to where it gets rediculous, such as this. You deserve to have your shee taken away, you obviously dont even respect what is given to you or else you wouldnt do stupid crap like this. Quote

Lol, you got the shaft bubba. I have a 00 model truck, I'm also 21, AND have 3 tickets on my record... and I only pay 181.00 a month for full covered with low deductibles. You need to search for a new insurance company in my opinion. Also... study up on your government's activties. They are the main ones responsible for raising the rates, not the people who brake for tailgaters. Quote

Klotzban1 Posted January 11, 2004 Report Posted January 11, 2004 ATVRider.......I know how you feel. When I was a kid at 13....I'm 37 now. I had neighbor friends that had quads and dirtbikes. Some had one of each model. I had a Baja 10 speed bicycle. Their parents were divorced and the kids got showered with gifts and stuff.Even $100.00 for a side present at Birthday time. It seemed to me that one parent was trying to win the kid over the other. Sure I got to ride some thanks to some friends of mine, but as I look back I see what my Dad done. He taught me that if you always had things given to you,..you wont appreciate those things as much as working for them. I now have owned my 1997 Banshee for 1 year and 10 months. Its not new...but its in great shape and nice. Alot of mods have been added and Its really a good feeling to know that I did this on my own,... like my dad had done for years. My friends that owned bikes and Quads at that time now see me riding this banshee and know how I got it. When you buy your own stuff,..you'll appreciate the things alot more. Hey 14..... If you got the quad working hard and saving...your ok. Do us a favor and Please Dont ride the roads. These kind of acts are showing quad riders as LAW Breakers. Enviromentalists want us to screw up, so they can ruin our sport. Each time someone is caught they keep track of it. Work hard, ride safe.....Spend wise!! Peace. Quote

But the stereo types are awful, you're making it sound like any 14 year old kid who owns a banshee whom's parents helped fund it, is a spoiled brat. I've worked for everything i own doing odds and ends around the house and around the community. If your gonna come on a forum, and try to make a point, try to be a little better than calling people worthless pieces of dog shit... and i'm not stupid, i wouldnt try to out run the cops, i'd stop. and that moron who just jacks on his breaks.... enough said, you guys got that covered.
