An engine is a pump, the more air you can pump through, the more power you can make, modern CR500esk cylinders with 7 more ports  each makes at least 50% more power than the stuff from the last millenium!

Yes, the single cylinder stuff gets the advantage of massive transfers. The twins and triples only have so much room between the bores to cast, so there is less volume.

A few MM's of additional transfer can go a long way. Seems like guys are finally getting all the DMX's, Caracal's, Cougar's, and Scimitar's to run consistant. Like anything, if you just keep throwing time and money at it, it's bound to finally run. Lol

Not negative. The spread stuff never ran like it should have on motor. Now I think the spread stuff is helpful (ish) if you are going to run an ass load of spray, but even then, there doesn't seem to be much (If any) performance advantage. Velocity over volume still prevails 90% of the time.

when was at 180 psi with 35s on my 4 mil I was at a 135-142 main between summer and fall so not too surprising plus your higher elevation there right like 5k arent you?
