ZillaFreak Posted November 17, 2017 Report Posted November 17, 2017 You can try to lap it, but I wouldn't waste the time personally. 1 Quote
Toybreaker Posted November 17, 2017 Report Posted November 17, 2017 yes, if you know what you are doing that is absolutely repairable/usable. DIY mechanic? don't bother........ you will fuck up the taper and it will not seat properly causing all kinds of electrical mischief. 1 Quote
locogato11283 Posted November 17, 2017 Report Posted November 17, 2017 I’ve run WAY worse than that. Clean it up. Put it on. It’ll be fine. Quote
JUSTWANNARACE Posted November 17, 2017 Report Posted November 17, 2017 Put some Dykum on the inside of the flywheel and crank. Lap in with valve lapping compound until all Dykum is removed. Coat the inside of flywheel with some blue loc-tite to create a thin barrier between the 2 metals to avoid electrolysis and pitting. Install as normal. Should be good to go.. jmo 1 Quote
