Im in the market for a coolhead & have been looking at the chariot ones... however i did see a thread saying about poor castings etc? Can anyone shed some light on this? Will only be running on a 4mm stroked 66mm bore motor.

They aren't casted, they are machined.

He's probably talking about the "plug" situation a few years ago. Go chariot, youll be fine.

Has to be what he's thinking about that's the only negative thing I've heard about their heads

That was my head. The situation was remedied. Jerry ultimately made it right.

these heads do fit tight around the studs! small trick is to not bolt down the cylinders tight until you have the head on it will slip right in like a 2$ hooker and a asian man love stick

I personally run a chariot and so does my other buddy... their both newer heads around 1year old or so...

I thought that was normal for all heads, I just use a small rubber mallet and lightly tap each side down
