I'm thinking about wrapping my exhaust from the headers to where the expansion chambers meet the mufflers. (I have t5's) The main reason I want to is that the previous owner spray painted them with some shit walmart paint and they are just peeling off. They are chrome underneath but it's not in the greatest shape. Yeah I could strip them and have them plated again but I think it would look pretty cool wrapped, everybody has chrome pipes. Thanks for the input.

No I mean like a header wrap that you would use on a car. Some custom motorcycles also have the exhaust wrapped.

Some have to retain the heat in the exhaust.

I'm literally only doing it for the look, I could care less about the heat retention. I just want to try something different.

If your looking for looks over performance, buy a crotch rocket bud.

I wrapped my oof drag pipes a couple of years ago to do some 1/4 mile testing. It's a pita to get the wrap laid down uniform and tight but it can be done. Shoot me a pm if you care to see some pictures.

The lake I live on has a warden constantly patrolling it in the winter. Loves to ticket loud atvs. Hence the header wrap and stock silencers. Like zilla said, it will affect how it performs.
