yfzrider2005 Posted March 27, 2015 Report Posted March 27, 2015 any help would be great, please don't bash me cause I am new at this. banshee rebuilt few years ago had problems with float sticking on left side , got the carb problem fixed, now it pops when it is cold, when its warm it runs good, did a compression check, with cheap ass thing I bought, read 94lbs one side 92 the other. gimmee some input guys. Gumball12 Posted March 27, 2015 Report Posted March 27, 2015 I had a similar problem and it ended up being a leak in choke connecting tube between the two carbs. Put a new tube and the problem disappeared. Quote
Gumball12 Posted March 27, 2015 Report Posted March 27, 2015 I doubt compression is your problem being that the two cylinders are so close and the bike starts. I used a cheap tester on a build and it read about what yours is reading. Used a buddys snap on and got around 130. 1 Quote

special06shee Posted March 28, 2015 Report Posted March 28, 2015 Before ya buy anything, unscrew plug caps and trim wire back about 1/4" or until you get to solid wire. Screw caps back on and try it. Quote
