If I purchase a new stroker crank it comes trued  but is it also welded ? if not can I have my local builder weld it ? or does it need to be a crank place that welds it because then it needs to be rebalanced, and if so any idea of a ruff cost for that.

I would ask him but it is Christmas day.

It may not be. I'd want a professional welding my crank. Anyone can put a tack in. But it may twist from heat when you actually penetrate an put a good weld down. Also, it would only be the outside webs, unless whoever is doing your motor can press the crank apart and weld the inside

Ok, then 115 long rod, don't bash a new guy for not knowing the correct words,  or knowing the difference between a stroker crank and stock crank, Just help put me in the right place or hit the road, too much bull crap is bashed on people trying to learn and I don't need the bull crap.

OK, cool, Hard to tell if bashing or not I have tried to read so many posts the last 2 weeks  and to read 15 pages of bashing on most threads and to try and find out what the answer to the original question is getting real old and makes me not want to search anymore.
