  4. looking for one set of reeds for the inner side or a complete set.
  5. With the different carbs I now have the hole shot. Yes floats set just touching, in the pic that is were it needs to be so it does not over flow.
  6. Thanks guys. I ordered billet bowls to make sure I have enough fuel.
  7. were did you get the intake ?
  8. yes in the pics it is just touching, I have done it straight up and down and at a 45deg angle this is how far I had to adjust them so they would quit leaking out the over flow, when they are set at 16mm the little bounce spring is just about bottomed out in the float needle. but I can not have them at 16mm because they leak, it is both of them not just one. The picture of close up on the carbs the carb is tilted a tad so make sure your looking at it straight, Cody at fast said that does not look good.
  9. I have to set the floats at about 19.8mm for them to not leak gas out the over flow. ( 39pwk ) What are you guys using ? I seen a old post about wildcard ones are they still around and if so a contact # ?
  10. Well now I have another issue, the 39pwk carbs and UPP intakes I purchased my angle seems high and I have to set the floats at about 19.8mm for them to not leak gas out the over flow
  11. Thanks, I have not check what your asking. I got the 39 carbs today and mounted them and now I am getting a hole shot, I only tried a couple times and need to spend more time with it but was out of time for the weekend, I will be out of town and back at it on Monday. I will be checking into the domes also.
  12. I contacted the guy I got the motor from and he said Midwest power sports is were the domes came from.
  13. Thanks, well that just burns my chops, well can chalk up another item from this shit as build from someone, I had to replace numerous items on this motor already because someone did not do it right.
  14. domes came with motor so would not surprise me if they were wrong cut, everything else was wrong with this motor when I got it and had it tore a part to make sure everything was right. I have not tried any electrical, I will be out of town this weekend and will try new carbs first of next week and see what it does. Chukkinsod, I was just there for Thursday, I ran my yfz450 ( 513 ) and had my cub on the trailer, I was hooking way to hard with it and could not keep the front end down, I did not have spare parts to try with it..
  15. I am getting consistent readings .44 at the wall and then about 1/4" away is .50 and about 1/2" away .60 If I went with the .12 base gasket then I would be .36 / .42 /.52
  16. so do I have the wrong base gasket on this ? I need to get one flying in the mail if I do.
  17. I used one piece, at the piston wall I am getting .44-.45 and half way back to center of piston I have .60
  18. I checked the squish with thicker material and being my first time doing it I will need to have a second opinion on it, I did hold it even with the piston pin and had it in about 1.5" across the top of the piston and is what I read is from .45-.50 seems closer to the center of the piston is were it has a bigger gap.
  19. I ordered 39pwk carbs and am going to start with 175 mains and 52 pilots, I will not have the chance to test until Monday. If it does not work then I will bump the timing.
  20. I only had soldier that was .50 thick and looks like squish is about .48, I need to run to town and get something thicker to make sure.
