Stone MXshee Posted September 29, 2014 Author Report Posted September 29, 2014 Hopefully I can reach close to 80hp when I get a port job. do I have to make jetting changes for the increased air and fuel running through the cylinders now? Quote
Frankthetank Posted September 29, 2014 Report Posted September 29, 2014 What type of riding do you do? Dunes, trails, open fields? 80hp in the trails doesn't do you much good unless you can somehow put that power to the ground. Quote
Stone MXshee Posted September 29, 2014 Author Report Posted September 29, 2014 Some trails, a little mx, and a lot of drag straights for the 4 stroke jokes. Quote

Stone MXshee Posted September 30, 2014 Author Report Posted September 30, 2014 Yeah I figured. Thanks everyone for the help. I am taking measurements this Saturday of my crank. Quote
Stone MXshee Posted October 7, 2014 Author Report Posted October 7, 2014 Yup, just what I expected. Stock crank. Stock ports as well. Quote
sheerider11 Posted October 7, 2014 Report Posted October 7, 2014 Yup, just what I expected. Stock crank. Stock ports as well.Wasn't this a 4 mil ported crate motor from east coast Atv?? Why wouldn't you send it back? Quote
Stone MXshee Posted October 7, 2014 Author Report Posted October 7, 2014 sheerider11, yes that's what I ordered and they sent my motor back with a stock crank and no port work. I just got off the phone with them and discussed for the 3rd time this issue, and they said they will call me back, again. I wont hold my breath. I'm hoping I can send it back and they can just refund me my full amount. Quote
sheerider11 Posted October 7, 2014 Report Posted October 7, 2014 Keep calling. This isn't something that should be swept under the rug. I'd be livid if that happened to me. Quote
sprinklerman Posted October 7, 2014 Report Posted October 7, 2014 Yup, just what I expected. Stock crank. Stock ports as well.Don't take this the wrong way...but are you qualified to make that assessment? 1 Quote
Stone MXshee Posted October 7, 2014 Author Report Posted October 7, 2014 Yes, my measurements were spot on. I triple checked everything. I knew what I was looking for. Quote
Stone MXshee Posted October 7, 2014 Author Report Posted October 7, 2014 sherider11, that's what I have been doing. I don't understand, just give me what I fucking paid for!!! WTF!! I'm not asking for anything extra. Quote
sprinklerman Posted October 7, 2014 Report Posted October 7, 2014 Exactly how did you measure the stroke, and determine it was not ported? Quote
sheerider11 Posted October 7, 2014 Report Posted October 7, 2014 Were the ports even cleaned up??? Quote
trickedcarbine Posted October 7, 2014 Report Posted October 7, 2014 Photos are worth a million bucks. Or in your case... A new motor. Quote
