How do you know he did a great job? 5 passes and it's "great"? You have a giant mess on your hands. There's been a fuggin bomb go off in your bottom end. All of those shavings went somewhere! I'd do a REALLY good inspection of all the parts in and around that motor.

Hmm, looks like he used the crank clip to double up one in the trans..... Did you send him a motor with just stock amount of clips? Yahtzee

I made 10 passes before it started rattling in on the primary side, 10 passes we're great but the last one sucked, and I sent him the engine completly stock never been tore down only thing I took off before sending it to him was the stock cylinders and I sent my supercubs in a seperate box along with the brand new crank. I put my lockup and basket on etc.

Oh, to the OP's original question. No...... That's definitely fixable. New crank for sure, cases, and whatever the top end ate. What are the pistons and bore condition? Bet it's got AIDS too....

Ha, no doubt he put those clips in that motor! Guess he had good intentions......

Yep... I hadn't even noticed until I read your response. Zoom in, and looky there!

Are they supposed to be on the tranny?

Yeah. like I said before do you know anything about these engines? That on holds the trans shaft from moving if there was no clip then the whole basket would be out of the clutch cover and fuck the tranny up
