J-Madd Posted February 10, 2014 Report Posted February 10, 2014 I've raced decent size races where people who lived less than 10 miles from the track and Drag race cars didn't even know we existed. It's not a spectator sport at all. If you're not a racer, for the most part you're not there. Quote
J-Madd Posted February 10, 2014 Report Posted February 10, 2014 IMO, I don't think it matters. Next it will be I've raced more PSDA/PS races than you. It's more about attracting newcomer's to the sport. We have, but don't care. if someone is thinking or wanting to race them venues. They should be able to express their concerns. You have people here with no intention of ever attending a single sanctioned drag race event. That was my point. I don't disagree with you at all. Quote
#1JUANstunna Posted February 10, 2014 Report Posted February 10, 2014 I've done plenty of racing but never been to a PS/PSDA race so I guess I'm not a racer. I think the point of this thread was to promote safety gear period! Not just at PSDA, but to make a push to have tracks and promoters realize that safety needs to be addressed. Quote
Burke Posted February 10, 2014 Report Posted February 10, 2014 what the fuck is PSDRA or Planet Sand? Quote
#1JUANstunna Posted February 10, 2014 Report Posted February 10, 2014 what the fuck is PSDRA or Planet Sand? You know the biggest baddest races on the planet and nothing else counts. Quote
J-Madd Posted February 10, 2014 Report Posted February 10, 2014 No disrespect. I thought this was about the current drag racing organizations (if you want to call them that). Quote
Burke Posted February 10, 2014 Report Posted February 10, 2014 You know the biggest baddest races on the planet and nothing else counts. never heard of them... I have heard of FSA though Quote
#1JUANstunna Posted February 10, 2014 Report Posted February 10, 2014 never heard of them... I have heard of FSA though FSA is a west coast deal and Pro Sand Drag Association is east of the Mississippi for the most part. Quote
Burke Posted February 10, 2014 Report Posted February 10, 2014 well... who cares about the East coast?... there is nothing fast out there anyway!! Quote
#1JUANstunna Posted February 10, 2014 Report Posted February 10, 2014 well... who cares about the East coast?... there is nothing fast out there anyway!! Just slow imbreds! lol Quote
J-Madd Posted February 10, 2014 Report Posted February 10, 2014 Most of PSDA is west of the Mississippi. We'll race y'all any day though. Quote
Burke Posted February 10, 2014 Report Posted February 10, 2014 in all seriousness... this thread to promote another forum has turned into a safety thread. this happened at about the 70' mark when the front cam back down with the front end locked left... 1 Quote

bluebanshee98 Posted February 10, 2014 Report Posted February 10, 2014 well... who cares about the East coast?... there is nothing fast out there anyway!!I wouldn't go as far as saying that... Yes there is probably more faster and bigger motors out west then there is on the east coast but there is some over along this way too Quote
