joshb Posted January 23, 2014 Report Posted January 23, 2014 12 extremes are pretty universal I'd say Quote
Coupelx Posted January 23, 2014 Report Posted January 23, 2014 8-10 paddle haulers for your buddy and 12 paddles for you. I bet even 10-11 extremes would be great for duning. Quote
Coupelx Posted January 23, 2014 Report Posted January 23, 2014 By that i mean if its not strictly a drag bike dont get carried away on paddle size Quote
cb6979 Posted January 23, 2014 Report Posted January 23, 2014 I am the friend with the 70hp bike, and we both have +4 swingers. Quote
sprinklerman Posted January 23, 2014 Report Posted January 23, 2014 I've never rode in sand and want to make this trip. So does one of my buddies. Neither of us have paddles yet. What should we go with? He has a 70hp dune ported stock stroke and I have a 100hp 421 cub.I have some 12pdl extremes on wheels for sale. And I'll offer free delivery to ls if you go. 87sheerips Posted January 23, 2014 Report Posted January 23, 2014 http://www.sandtiresunlimited.com/sandtire1.html Jason don't listen to anybody if they tell you any different than a 9 paddle STU Padla Brat. If they tell you different, they are wrong. Even for your 100hp motor. Quote
joshb Posted January 23, 2014 Report Posted January 23, 2014 10s or 12s would be good with a short swinger Quote
JasonsBanshee Posted January 23, 2014 Report Posted January 23, 2014 It's 100hp cub with a +4 swinger. I was actually looking at some 10 paddles, but I don't know jack about sand because I've never riden in it. How important are front sand tires? I've ridden in pea gravelish sand at Badlands and my front 19x6x10 Holeshot MXs were cutting in real bad almost to the point where it was annoying. Quote
joshb Posted January 23, 2014 Report Posted January 23, 2014 10s would be fine. I bet Phil would price the 12s very well. Quote
BB3 Posted January 23, 2014 Report Posted January 23, 2014 Paddla brats are damn good tires, good dune tires because of the smaller DIA and good drag tires on smaller motors. Quote
