2005 Dodge Cummins AC recharging

Wasnt the door actuator also an issue on these trucks? they run a hot heater core full time and blend the air according to temp knob position. thought i read somewhere that the doors break or motors strip out causing the hot air to leak past. Any one have a fix for the noisey a/c clutch engaugement? mine is horrible at idle.

I have read that the blender doors do break and can cause this. Also read that you can put a ball valve on the line to the heater core to just shut the heater core off which is what I did. As for the clutch engagement mine is loud and violent as well. Always wondered about that
