How long is to long for a swingarm?

Building a dune bike but i also wanted to use it for trail riding through the dunes not just drag racing, How does the length affect trail riding? I wanted to put some decent power in this build so I was thinking a +6 or should i do a +4?

I"ve had everything from a +4 to a +10. The 4 was in my opinion the easiest to ride and the one I had the most fun on. I had 72hp on my +4 and it was a blast to ride.

I have no problem trail riding with a +6 in dunes.

I like a +6 for an all round banshee as long as the motor is ported and built. (65hp and higher)

+4 if it's just bolt-ons.

Works fine for me in the woods at The Badlands as well as on the dunes.

This will be a sand only banshee, the paddles will never come off. I have other banshees for dirt.

I never ran in sand but i had a +4 and currently running a +6. I really didnt notice any bad differences with the added length in the trails! Id say just go with the +6 and youll be good to go!

I like my +4 trail riding and just dicking around, but I like a +6 in the sand.
