gotta_goatsfast Posted August 22, 2012 Report Posted August 22, 2012 Foam filters will provide better protection than pleated.... but pleated filters will make a smidge more power. Quote
Bad one ton Posted August 23, 2012 Report Posted August 23, 2012 I run k&n with outerwares TON! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote
DirtDiggler69 Posted August 24, 2012 Report Posted August 24, 2012 UNI with Outerwears!!!!!! FTW!!!!!!! Quote
ATVridinMaNiAc Posted August 24, 2012 Report Posted August 24, 2012 Foam filters are a little bit more protection, and the K&Ns are a little bit more power. I wont run a K&N without an outerwear though. Quote
bluebanshee98 Posted August 24, 2012 Report Posted August 24, 2012 k&n with outerwears. i have yet to see a spec of dirt in my carbs even in very dusty conditions Quote
special06shee Posted August 24, 2012 Report Posted August 24, 2012 Uni filters are far superior then k&ns as for protection!! But it all depends on where ya ride in my opinion. I ride the coal and i have had no luck with k&ns!! Slides were always dirty!! Uni filters keep them clean!! Quote
