trickedcarbine Posted July 15, 2012 Report Posted July 15, 2012 Tyler, i swear on my life if you end up with these and hang them in your shop, Ill drive my ass to your house in the middle of the night and just stand over you as you sleep and when you wake up, I will smother you in a pillow. I called a guy in michigan and offered him $650 for a USED set and he said he didnt want to sell just the pipes. What a douche! Yeah, I have scoured Michigan for actual OG originals. They are everywhere here, but no one will part with them. Quote
lms1977 Posted July 15, 2012 Report Posted July 15, 2012 What is the reason so many people want them ? What makes them so good? Quote
Glenyboy Posted July 15, 2012 Report Posted July 15, 2012 What is the reason so many people want them ? What makes them so good? Because they're recommended by Tyler. Lol Quote
locogato11283 Posted July 15, 2012 Report Posted July 15, 2012 What is the reason so many people want them ? What makes them so good? Because they're an in-frame drag pipe. Very comparable or better in my opinion to CPI. Anyone who knocks them is an uninformed idiot. They're a direct in-frame version of the GRR out-frames. The originals built by Tom Borrink are the best ones. My brother and me bought the first two sets off the production line back in about 2003 or 2004. We ran them on a ton of motors. The company switched hands so many times since then that the dies were lost or destroyed, as I was told. Quote
BB3 Posted July 15, 2012 Report Posted July 15, 2012 Ya they look just like my grr's......heck i wouldnt mind scoring a set for me trail bike. Quote
Buckwheat Posted July 16, 2012 Report Posted July 16, 2012 Why are they better than R2's? Do they make more power? Fitment? Quote
Glenyboy Posted July 16, 2012 Report Posted July 16, 2012 They are definitely some great looking pipes, if they were that good of a steel I'd hang them up aswell!! Quote
