spark plug comes loose? Cheetah 492 pv

Recommended Posts

The right side spark plug keeps coming loose. It did it again today. I just had Millennium replate the cylinder, weld, deck the top, ect. New pistons, domes, gaskets, ect. 492 cheetah, +4 timing, 27cc domes. 160 psi. Always ran on 93 octane.

Any ideas would help.

Thanks

detonation. 160 is pretty high for 93 or could be lean deto

[/quote) I ran this same set up for years with no problem. The only difference is I got bigger carbs. PWK 39's 165 mains, 52 pilots, cel needle. Can't seem to get it right.

It holds air, it bleeds down over an hour or so.

I know it won't fix the initial problem but trinity has a thing that goes between the plugs to hold them in place. Of course if you weren't having the issue with detonation it probably wouldn't be worth while.

Yep it will hold the spark plugs until the pistons have a hole melted in them. Now if they could make something to keep pistons from melting.
