Going 110 on a banshee is not impossible but it is going to totally kill your bottom end and there is no reason to go that fast. Quote

hotrodbanshee Posted March 31, 2011 Report Posted March 31, 2011 (edited) I think there is some decals out there that you can install on your shee that increases horsepower dramatically. Your gunna need alot more motor then a stock 350 with pipes and a after market head. My 450 still whips my banshee's ass from 0- 90mph. My Banshee with the big engine has a bit more top end actually. But i need alot of runway to catch it. Sounds like you need a Big bore and some serious compression. Quote

If you are doing a 2 mile drag race then maybe you need that kind of speed but guys that are doing drag races on asphalt every weekend are not even going that fast. Also what are you racing that is going that fast? 120mph + and get there pretty darn quick. Quote

Sounds like you need a Big bore and some serious compression. i do. i have a 426 cheetah kit. the 450s dont have a top speed of 90mph any way. the crf 450s and kx450s i was up against were piped and they barely hit 80mph. sorry bro, but its a dirt bike, theyre gonna be quicker off the line, less weight and lots of torque. but im easily beating them.
