TheBigShabowski Posted March 24, 2011 Report Posted March 24, 2011 I Have been rescuing a shee for a couple months and today I finished it. Started 3rd kick. did some carb adjusting and it sounds and revs great. so i took it for a quick ride across the farmers field. did a couple passes. ran like a rapped ape. then i was making my last pass and i heard a pop. wouldn't rev at all. sounded awful, but it started and idled fine. I was frustrated and mad. I f*&^ing broke it the first ride. BUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUT. i have bansheehq. after 5 mins of research i figured out the problem. When i bent over to pick my hat up off the groung i must have hit the parking brake. the rev limiter was on. Went back to the garage and it was fixed in 20 secs. THANK YOU BANSHEEHQ and ITS MEMBERS!!!!!!! Quote

BigRed350x Posted March 24, 2011 Report Posted March 24, 2011 I just take a grinder and hack off the slack, then weld whats left of the chain back together. Quote

RZBansheeMan Posted March 24, 2011 Report Posted March 24, 2011 As for the chain thing... I just buy a 1 tooth bigger rear sprocket each time I run out of chain adjustment and the chain has more then an inch and a half of free play..... Quote
