  1. No. Got bill of sale from previous owner ( a snap-on dealer that took it on a debt) and i will give a bill of sale. Tried getting a title for my last one and the dmv said a title is not required in Illinois
  2. Idles fine but will not rev. Sounds like the parking brake. There's a fix for it on here on here that tells you to cut a wire. I want to say its green with yellow don't quote me. Look it up on here
  3. I had one a couple weeks ago that acted the same way. Ended up being the pickup. When it heated up the coil in the pickup was shorting than it would cool off and it would refire for 30 sec or so and short out again.
  4. Frame and arms were blasted and hit with spray gun ( not can) last winter when i did the engine Had the arms and bumper done again last month when i did the control arm bushings.

  7. I put out a wanted add for a good stock crank. Colby answered with a good piece and a great price. Got it in four days. Super smooth transaction. I'd buy anything from colby.
  8. I did the doglit mod myself. I wasn't make near the power you are but if all you need to do is cut the gears, thats pretty easy once you have the trans out of the case.

  12. I am looking for a stock crank with rods stock pistons. Nothing special. Im not looking for one i have to rebuild. With all these modded bikes on here someone has got one laying around.
  13. Rebuilt from the frame up. Fresh Fire engine red powder coated frame. Took Engine apart and honed the jugs and reringed the the pistons. Every gasket and seal has been replced inside and out. Did the shift star mod, and trans gear cut mod. (can shift on the fly with ease) New bearings and seals in front wheels, new bearings in rear carrier. All new roller bearings in the swingarm and rear shock mounts, new bushings and washers in control arms. all new Stainless bolts throught except main motor mount and upper control arms. new ricky stator with adjustable timing plate set at 4deg btdc. new mod quad chain sliders and new chain. Toomey t-5 pipes and k&n airfilter with sock. race modded air box with the actual k&n filter adapter. Boisen reeds in stock cages. jetted @ 330 mains and 17.5 pilots. It will idle all day long. DG front bumper. shock covers. Tors delete kit with new throttle cable. 2 sets of rear tires (Dirt and Mud) other mods i cant think of this sec. The restoration is 1 yr old. I have about 10 rides on it. the bike pulls like new. starts on 2nd-3rd kick evry time. (ONE KICK AFTER WARMED UP) Used only and i mean only AMSOIL dominater since rebuild.and yahmalube in gear case. 93 octane from shell. The bad: Plastics are not broken but are scratched up. Was spray painted black when i got them and cleaning them was a little difficult. The controls are worn and need replaced. the bike can be rode and enjoyed there just a little sloppy.   14. Ok after trying to fix a buddies shee for a week. He finally tells be he got a Cdi box and new harness for sb 87. (frame is 87) the drivetrain and stator are from a newer bike post 94. When the harness didn't fit he hacked it up and changed all connectors except the cdi box. The bike seems to be losing spark after running a few minutes. Do you guts think im on the right track thinking the mixed match components are the issue um fighting?
  15. I put a Tors delete kit on the bike. Rebuilt the Carbs (not my first set) and jetted it with 300 mains @600ft above. Has k&n, and pro circuits. The Carbs are synched and flow matched. It will start fine idle for a few min, than the idle drops and it dies than backfires. Choke tube is on and bowls are on the right carb. Everything else appears stock.
  16. A buddy of mine is having trouble keeping his banshee running. I can am pretty good at tuning my banshee with a Tors delete kit. His shee has the Tors box removed and wires cut but the units are on still on top the Carbs. How do I adjust idle with those units on top? Thanx for the help. James
  17. I took a piece of aluminium stock and bolted it to the T.O.R.S. box braket and mounted a toggle to it. hard to see and out of the way. Just A suggestion

  19. Went on a 4 hr sloppy trail ride. Shee did great until the 4 hr mark. I went through a decent size mud pit. the idle surged and wont come back down. I killed it and tried to restart it, but it still wont come down. It is wide open. The tors is removed. i checked the cable and its moving up and down. The springs and slides have to be working. correct? What else would make the rpms race?
  20. I Have been rescuing a shee for a couple months and today I finished it. Started 3rd kick. did some carb adjusting and it sounds and revs great. so i took it for a quick ride across the farmers field. did a couple passes. ran like a rapped ape. then i was making my last pass and i heard a pop. wouldn't rev at all. sounded awful, but it started and idled fine. I was frustrated and mad. I f*&^ing broke it the first ride. BUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUT. i have bansheehq. after 5 mins of research i figured out the problem. When i bent over to pick my hat up off the groung i must have hit the parking brake. the rev limiter was on. Went back to the garage and it was fixed in 20 secs.
