pabansheematt
hey guys just want to know if a 38mm single carb would be able to run a 421 cheetah +4 stroker? That motor could handle 2 of those.

Valin
Running a 50mm carb would be roughly the equivalent of running a pair of 35's. It would be interesting to see someone actually do this. There aren't too many people who build 50's, and of course you'd have to have a custom manifold made. Grab a billet 48x58.5mm Cutler Performance Center carburetor, and try it out. It would roughly be the equivalent of running a pair of 38's, but are very tuneable. I run 48mm CPC's on my race sled. http://www.cpcracing.com/site/256083/page/190735
WINDYCITYJOHN400
With a real big carb on a 2 into 1 intake, you'll have poor throttle response and it will be hard to tune anything but the WOT settings. For that matter, you'll be loosing top end on a motor that big with a 2 into 1 set-up. But if it was an un-ported 421 for trail use....you might be able to do it, but the big carb isn't the answer. I'd vote twin 35's for a cub since the cub only makes real HP gains in the high RPMs. NOTE: I've got a single 36PWK on a 370 long rod motor with full dune porting. I don't think anybody made or makes an intake for anything bigger than a 36.
