EvilBanshee
Hey guys, What do most of you guys run for spark pkugs?? I did run NGK B8ES on my old motor. which was 130 PSI, Now i just built a 421 with 190 PSI. Im thinking the ones i have just arent cutting the mustard. Do any of your guys run like iridium's or anything??? . Edited August 13, 2010 by EvilBanshee

Do any of your guys run like iridium's or anything??? . I have heard bad things about getting creative with plug configurations. I run, and always will run NGK BR8ES. Iridiums I've heard have issues with losing electrodes. I may be totally wrong, but someone else will probably chime in with their own personal experiences. My old race sled use to run like shit on regular Br8es's, but then i found a Iridium for it and it never fouled again, it ran way better. Im just curious if theirs a nice race plug out their for banshee's.

jbooker82
NGK BP8ES here. SP Yep projected tip spark plug. That way it hangs down in the combustion chamber a little farther instead of being recessed in the dome. Then I just side cap the ground strap. Pic's of each will load off to the side. Projected tip. (BPR8ES) http://www.sparkplugs.com/results_cross.asp?pid=bpr8es Standard tip (BR8ES) http://www.sparkplugs.com/results_cross.asp?pid=br8es&x=34&y=

I did not know that. mine came brand new with the non resister plugs, and I took it out of the crate and put it together. and the manual shows either one for replacement Edited August 17, 2010 by toytech
