chetgoff Posted March 29, 2010 Report Posted March 29, 2010 hey guys it's a long rod weisco 4 mill what do ya guys think it's worth is $120 shipped to much? Quote
papa_smurf49319 Posted March 29, 2010 Report Posted March 29, 2010 its weight in scrap! No but seriously i think you will have a hard time sellin it for any amount thats worth trying to sell it for. Quote
jbooker82 Posted March 29, 2010 Report Posted March 29, 2010 Yea you can get a new hot rods 4mill for 435 from jeff at fast. It is cheaper to buy a new crank that it is to even replace a bad bearing. I would just say it is junk. Quote
SD1026 Posted March 29, 2010 Report Posted March 29, 2010 What ever the scrap metal yard says its worth maybe 75 cents. Quote
RadarRacing Posted March 29, 2010 Report Posted March 29, 2010 If it's a hotrods. I'd give something for it for sure as a spare. I have one with a bad end on it and I'd use the good end on yours or the rod off the good one. You can pm me a price if its reasonable. I've seen messed up ones bring $25 to 40 bux on ebay. I can trade some stock stuff if u need front brakes , hubs , keyswitch ,or handlebar switch, frt tires etc. Quote
jbooker82 Posted March 29, 2010 Report Posted March 29, 2010 there you go that is probably the best offer your going to get. josh Quote
firebanshee Posted March 29, 2010 Report Posted March 29, 2010 I sold my crank with a broken rod for $50 to a local guy because he messed up his threads and wanted the end of it. Quote
AKheathen Posted March 30, 2010 Report Posted March 30, 2010 well, i paid 100 for one with a bad pto bearing, and the rod got bent in shipping, and then 75 shipped for one with a bad rod bearing with maxload upgrade, and otherwise pretty new. i do need a rod pin from it, though....... Quote
RadarRacing Posted March 30, 2010 Report Posted March 30, 2010 You can get new ones for $375 some places on sale. If the rest of it is good you could get a rod for it and about $200 at crankworks to have it fixed might be worth it.Lemme know if u ebay it or something. Quote
J-Madd Posted March 30, 2010 Report Posted March 30, 2010 Tim at Titan Racing just fixed a crank with a bent rod for a friend of mine. $175 parts, labor, return shipping, and few intake gaskets. Quote
AKheathen Posted March 31, 2010 Report Posted March 31, 2010 Tim at Titan Racing just fixed a crank with a bent rod for a friend of mine. $175 parts, labor, return shipping, and few intake gaskets. just keep in mind, though- they will spec it out and you may end up spending as much as a new one, when all is said and done, lol Quote
