Rockets are a very good all around pipe. Its mostly a drag pipe. Its not your fault that you have a bone stock motor, and tried every pipe on it (which is some bullshit). If you do some porting on your shee, or have a 4 mil, you wouldnt say that rockets are crappy especially the old ones. Quote
01banch Posted February 5, 2010 Report Posted February 5, 2010 This coming from the guy who is throwing a fit about other people trying to buy these pipes. Quote

alf44 Posted February 6, 2010 Report Posted February 6, 2010 Elka....come on man. Ive always helped you out and gave you some info and advice, but your getting a little out of hand here bud. You have bought several sets of pipes in the last few months and have gotten all crazy over each and every set just like your doing now. Whats the big deal? You have a stock bike to! You need to just get a set of pipes and stick with them. Ive had the same pipes on my bike for 3 years and 3 different motor build ups. Im doing a 4 mill now and may stick with the t5s again. Just like everyone has said to you time and time again, SAVE YOUR MONEY AND PORT YOUR DAMN BIKE AND YOU WILL PROLY FORGET ABOUT PIPES BECAUSE YOUR GOING TO HAVE A NIGHT AND DAY DIFFERENCE AND IT WILL BE LIKE A BRAND NEW RIDE!!! Just relax junior. You will get your pipes eventually but you losing alot of respect here from some of us simply because of the way your acting. I like you dude, and I dont mind helping you out with advice or parts but seriously, Chill dude chill. BigBoreBanshee, your probably right. They will be up for sale soon when he wants some oofs. lol. Gray Racing, I've wondered the same thing? are they really that great? Quote

Mjv420 Posted February 6, 2010 Report Posted February 6, 2010 Rockets are a very good all around pipe. How would you know? You've never ran them. Its mostly a drag pipe. Read above. Its not your fault that you have a bone stock motor, and tried every pipe on it (which is some bullshit). To me and everyone else this seems like your mission.. If you do some porting on your shee, or have a 4 mil, you wouldnt say that rockets are crappy especially the old ones. Your a baffoon. Quote
RZBansheeMan Posted February 6, 2010 Report Posted February 6, 2010 First and foremost the Rocket's never got the recognition they they truly deserved due to all the drama (between designer / ownership) followed by some later poor craftsmanship and delivery times, which is really too bad. They are a very unique looking pipe for sure, they may be a lil big and bulky, but it seems to me as if they are between a big / small bore pipe and they way outperform the T-5's hands down. My personal experience with them is no loss of bottom end, huge mid and very excellent top. Some will argue CPI's are better, some will argue the Rocket's are better, I however can not state one way or another. I think it has more to do with the build of the motor. I would also say that the Rocket's are not Drag pipes, but maybe more of a all round pipe or even more so a great Dune pipe and yes they work very well even on stock motors. Mike Quote
