225GUY
I just installed an EHS Racing lid, which is the stock lid with the top completely open with the outerwears netting; which acts as no lid. With mods and jetting listed in my sig, will I have to rejet?

BellicoseBanshee
If your jetting is correct with 300 main jets, then yes, you need to increase the mains...
225GUY
It ran perfect with 300 mains and 27.5 pilots and was a nice caramel brown .... Now I put the lid on and it still runs great. What size jets should I go to?
BellicoseBanshee
The lid must not flow much more air than a box with a normal lid if it runs the same. If it is good, leave it alone...
225GUY
If i needed to reject and go with bigger mains, what would it run like then? symptoms?
mdhc500
I made my own lid that looks just like theirs. I am at 1350 ft MSL and am jetted at 310's 27.5's... Mine runs pretty good now... You DONT want the plugs to be a really light color.

mdhc500
Don't Know. Youngstown, Ohio. When I was lean it actually ran really well, however the top part of 6th gear it ran like crap... Look at the plugs or do a chop if you really want to know....
