Mjv420 Posted March 19, 2009 Report Posted March 19, 2009 I used a jigsaw to make the cut I wanted, followed by a small grinder to shape it, followed by a file where needed and then sandpaper. Like said, if you search you will find many fender cutting threads where you can look and get an idea of what kind've cut you might want. Quote
DopeyTripod Posted March 19, 2009 Report Posted March 19, 2009 blue painters tape, draw out a STRAIGHT line. then I used a cut off wheel on my dremmel. Quote

drifter360 Posted April 18, 2009 Report Posted April 18, 2009 blue painters tape, draw out a STRAIGHT line. then I used a cut off wheel on my dremmel. I agree, just tape a little wider than you want to cut so you have room for clean up the edges. also be ready to get burnt with hot plastic flying ..lol Quote
Dirty Sanchez Posted April 18, 2009 Report Posted April 18, 2009 I agree with dopey. i used the cut off on my dremel. Then i used a carbon wire wheel and cleaned up the edges. The wire smothes it out pretty nice. and just a small touch up with sandpaper. Drifter is right about the hot plastic! that shit hurts. lol Quote
JasonsBanshee Posted April 24, 2009 Report Posted April 24, 2009 People make it so hard. Just cut them with whatever cuts plastic, sand the cut to smooth it out and hit it with a propane torch to "flame" the edge for a factory like finish. That's how I always do it. I would say goof luck, but with you being a leprechaun you should be good to go. LOL Quote

Super clean cut and the hot flying plastic is minimal. Dan Quote
