im curious to the out come of this. My cub did the same thing to me on saturday. I had taken it to the track 3 weeks earlier and had not a single problem. I was unable to launch the damn thing. Had to double clutch a couple times to get it to go. But as soon as it got into the top end, it ran normal. but it took 60ft to get to the point were the damn thing would go. I read this and pulled my reeds as well.(VF3's) I do have daylight between the cage and the center sets of reeds. The same for both sets. I did go thru and check for crap in my jets and the typical stuff. im just having a hard time believing that the little air gap that i have just appeared and is causing all these problems at once. Thoughts?? (421 cub, D&M Hillshooter/Drag port, 38mm airstrikers, vf3's, 188 main, 60 pilot, 7* timing, 20cc domes, 21x12x8 10pdl sls, 15-41)

oh yeah, i got my cash. but just saying if you deal with him, excpect a cold shoulder with no communications. Idk maybe he has been really busy. it was very frustrating trying to get information to ship stuff and then try to follow up.

Sold him some heel guards about a week and a half ago. he sent a message asking for my paypal ady and that was it. fast payment but Zero communications!!! I asked for his physical address so i could sent them out. I had to get his address off of his paypal account. I have sent several messages to him asking if they made it yet. stupid question. is your clutch adjusted right? do the arrows line up on the clutch arm and the case?

On the duneable 1-5 you lose a gear. Do you lose 6th (overdrive) or do you lose the original 1st gear? Or is all the gear ratio's changed?

I have been to SL alot over the years. im from washington. But all the times i was there, they mostly had 2 strokes stopped for dbl checks. Those 450's with HMF's have got to be louder! especially sitting in the bowl while they race. The other thing was giving speeding tickets for running to fast on the beach.

I did the same thing as stroker. Kind of boot leg so im gunna build a couple of spacers to fill the gap on either side of the light mount.

I agree with dopey. i used the cut off on my dremel. Then i used a carbon wire wheel and cleaned up the edges. The wire smothes it out pretty nice. and just a small touch up with sandpaper. Drifter is right about the hot plastic! that shit hurts. lol

I think he is trying to say that the t-5's will work and so will the stock carbs. but to make the power that is possible with the cubs you will need to go to bigger carbs. Also: i didnt think you could bore a stock carb over 28mm?

we will have to hook up sometime and go riding. Or atleast drink some beer. I live in gold canyon. I have rode out through queen valley towards hewitt station rd. and up towards the high pines. pretty cool.
