  1. Go with the purple! I painted my frame purple with black stock plastic. Changed to white FullBore and I think it looks sharp! I do plan on having it powder coated this summer with a deeper purple and metalic flake. Have fun and good luck with it and post some pics when you finish.
  2. Ive been searching on here all morning and cant seem to find the answer im looking for... I found a smokin deal on a set of 2+1 chrome lonestar a-arms and tierods. they dont have the ball joints or tierod ends. lonestars website says to use 87 warrior ball joints. i looked at yamaha of troy and the ball joints dont seem to be the same, plus they are 97bucks each ( after four of them the smokin deal doesnt seem too hot!) is the warrior joints the right ones or is there differnt options out there? any help would be appriciated. Im sure its been coverd on the HQ, but i cant seem to find it. Thanks
  3. LMFAO! Well played AWR, but you just cant compete with a boy genius like this!
  4. I got a stock set of lights, $20 + the ride... PM me if you want them.
  5. They are only good if you buy a top end boost bottle and tune your muffler bearings...
  6. I agree, just tape a little wider than you want to cut so you have room for clean up the edges. also be ready to get burnt with hot plastic flying ..lol
  7. WOW... kick ass job dude! Looks great. in the middle of a restore on my 97 right now (first 'shee and first restore) hope it turns out half as good as yours.
  8. I will take them if the PTR or FATTY trades dont work out...let PM me, deff. want them thanx
  9. recently cut the front and rear plastic on my '97 shee. i saw a few bikes at dumont without rear plastic and kinda liked the looks of it. just checkin on your thoughts and if anyone has pics of bikes with it. i'm in the process of painting my plastic, black fenders w/ plumb pearl tank cover and frame... should have pics of it soon;if it turns out good, no pics if it looks like a bag of hammered asses!
  10. if you still have them "DIBS" i'm in kearney az, i will be in tucson on monday and tuesday. shoot me a message and let me know thank
  11. just recently bought a 97 "shee that has a twist throttle on it. i have had one trip to dumont with it and had no problems riding with it in the sand, i rode my buddys 'shee and actully perfered my twist throttle over his thumb. i ride a harley so im used to the twist... my raptor700 has the factory thumb throttle and i do perfer that on the trails and in the desert. i think it all depends on what your used to and what you fell safe with. as with anything mechanical, both have a risk of malfunction anda throttle stick... just rided heads-up andb perpared.
  12. how bout shit talk on m2nd post? just kiddin dude. yeah i used my buddys dremel and burnt it up...finished the cuttin tho! next is a plum-crazy purple frame and black plastic....was gonna go for hunter green frame and white plastic but some asshole frome my area beat me to it!
  13. cut plastic looks foolish? WTF....maybe it looks foolish if you dont have the ability to do it well. i cut mine, and it looks great( will have pics up shortly) there are plenty of bikes on here with home cut plastic... some of us would rather build, not buy! any a-hole can buy looks and performance!
