87sheerips Posted March 12, 2009 Report Posted March 12, 2009 Just got my 1-5 dunable override from WCR (well bought it from a guy who had it done there). Its practically brand new. Anyways, I was wondering if someone had a pic so I can see where these springs go. In understand between the forks, but dont really understand exactly where they go. I have installed a few stock trannies, so Im pretty familiar in there. Just new to the overrides. I have been searching and have found nothing! Thanks for any help guys, tryin to get this motor put together this weekend. -JD Quote
00tbanshee Posted March 12, 2009 Report Posted March 12, 2009 you have to pull the shaft that has the 2 forks on and place the springs on each side of the forks and in between the two forks as you slide the shfit back through.sorry no pics.hope it helps though Quote
Hilarious Posted March 12, 2009 Report Posted March 12, 2009 you should have (3) different length springs. the longest one goes in between forks (1) & (2). the shortest one goes on the stator side. the mid length one goes on the clutch side.... Quote

XxMeltIcexX Posted March 13, 2009 Report Posted March 13, 2009 what does the override do No clutch Nukka! Quote
rubberneck Posted March 13, 2009 Report Posted March 13, 2009 No probably not. Although most people are going to tell you they do it, even with the duneable, it is not advised to excessively backload the trans (let the motor slow the bike down) It wears shift forks. Quote
Onesickcrewcab Posted March 14, 2009 Report Posted March 14, 2009 Your welcome for the picture moneybags. LOL. It's not the first time I've seen posted pics jacked from my photobucket. haha. Glad it helped out. Thats what they are there for! Quote
