Hey guys!!! Im going to start mx racing. I need some new a arms. Looking for some aftermarket ones. I also need a front bumper, Nerf bars and some new front 10x5 4/1 rims. Also need a set of rear fenders. Mine are busted. Mine are white and the could be cut if someone was looking to trade. I'm checking with y'all before I go buy new stuff. Are the stock a arms stronger than he Alba's? I have put them things threw hell. But you can replace the ball joints or adjust them. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk

Ok they are out of the long travel a arms but they have the standard +2+1 arms for $299. Where are they braking at. Is it from normal wear or from hitting huge jumps or just because they are cheap? Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk

I read the guide. You did an awesome job on it. Thank you for the information. I know my ball joints are getting bad so I really need the a arms but I just can't afford that much on shocks at the moment. Is there a set of arms that would work with my shocks until I get new ones. I just can't do all this at once. I was also going to get a new set of front rims. I hit a rock with my stock ones and had to put a set of rims on that I had traded for and I don't like them. They made it handle like crap. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk

Hey guys!! I have been out of the banshee scene for awhile but I'm getting back into it. 10 years ago I put some yfz 450 shocks on my bike. I didn't have a lot of money back then and my old shock were toast. I'm ready to upgrade my a arms and get new shocks. Im ride trails and do mx also. I have to stay under 50" for racing. I was ridin a really tight trail a few months ago and could not get on the brakes fast enought and hit a tree with the the left front tire. It broke my j arm so i got it home and forgot about till i figured out what i was going to do. I bought an a arm frame and started tearing my bike down and it also bent the shock shaft really close to the bottom of the shock. Is this shock toast or can i have a new shaft put in it. Its yfz 450 shock. If i can i would like to get both shocks rebuilt and revalved along with the stock back shock. Thanks guys

im going too look at as many setups as i can but im going too build it from new stuff im not going too try too retore fit anything except maybe the throttle bodies.

thanks for posting that article but i have done read that one several times and i also have it saved in my favorites. i have never delt with anything fuel injected so this is going too be a majior learning experiance for me. i hope too have everything bought and it running buy next spring. im also going too be doing alot of other stuff to the shee this winter. Its a j-arm bike and im going too convert it too a arms and im going too paint the frame and may get new plastics but the fuel injection is going too be my master project. and i was looking at some 02-03 throttle bodies and i dont think they have the fly by wire. i just have too do alot more research so i can try and figure out every bug there might be.thanks for all the help guys and keep posting because yaw might think of stuff i may over look.

ok what fuel pump are planning on using and are you using the microsquirt or what.if you dont use a o2 sensor wont that hurt you when you start going too diff elevations and temps.

i was thinking about making a little shiled on the side of the on coming exhaust flow. maybe it will run efficent enough that there is not alot of excess oil. i know i cant keep it all off of the o2 sensor but maybe i can reduce it.

hey guys im workin on gettin my stuff together too fuel inject the shee and im trying too figure what all i need. im going too use a microsquirt from megasquirt. thats the only ecu i have looked. if there are any other brands im open too sugestions. im going too use the throttal bodies off a yamaha r6 or r1. i know i need an o2 sensor but i really dont know what eles othr than injectors and a fuel pump and a pressure regulator i hope i can get with the throttal boddies. could yaw give me some other idas on what i need. thanks.

hey guys i need a dual pingle or another stock petcock. im going too either put a pingle my shee or put another stock on the other side of the tank so one petcock goes too each carb. and does anyone know or heard about the stock petcock mod? if you have a pingle please call me at 256-605-6482. thanks Dusty

im running 32-1 93 pump gas and yamalube r2 oil. i checked the pick up gap last time i checked my timing but its been a little while so it way have come lose. all the electrical componets are stock from 87 so it may be time too start replaceing them. the stator is still puting out enough, im wondering if my coil is getting weak. above 330 it feels like its rich it wont pick up and go it just falls on its face. below 330 its real zingy. well its zingy around 300 and down 310 too 330 is all about the same feeling. i have 125 psi of compression also. thanks for the help

i need some input on my jetting guys. I have fmf fatties, mx porting, mikuni vm 28mm carbs, foam filter with no lid, + 5.5 timing, and stock ported reed cages with stock reeds. It runs awesome from idle too 3/4 throttal. after that it falls on its face. i have tried the needle in every spot and every main from 250 too 380. its ran the best with a 330 and the needle in the second clip from the top. i cant figure it out and im about frazzeled lol. if someone could help me it would greatly apreciated. im about 1200 feet above sea level and the temps are ranging from 70-80 at night too 100-105 during the day.
