Rear tires for traction in all conditions

Wanting new rear tires for geat hookup in all riding conditions for my shee. I am stuck between the Ohtsu radials that come stock on the old 250r's/400ex's, or the dunlops that come stock on the YFZ450's. Anyone using these tires on their shee? Looking for really good traction off the line.

yfz450. i run them on my 450 still. good tires. hook well in all conditions. last a long time. can usually find them cheap.

if i had to pick it would be the ohtsu's.i run them on my 421 cub but the dunlops work well too

i do like the look of those tires. there are actually some guys in minnesota running those at the hillclimbs.. i mean, they still get their asses whipped, but they arent as slow anymore. :biggrin:

 

i might try some of those after my 450 tires go to shit..

yea, stock ones still.. its my third set though numbnuts. i had a hookup at the local yamaha shop for a while and bought them cheap as fuck.

 

and no, they dont blow cock. they are one of the best tires out there for all around riding..

yes i like them. irazrs are fuckin junk. overpriced heavy pieces of shit that wear down very quickly.

i would never ride a 400cc 4 stroke, unless i was riding my friends up a hill on the trail he couldnt make

i vote the KT355s that come on the YFZ's, one of the best tires ive used. Very good in snow too
