rtcc Posted December 2, 2008 Report Posted December 2, 2008 Put new plus in it and if that doesnt help them switch the plug wires and see what happens. If that doesnt do it then take your carbs apart and clean them. Quote
bbcmudtruck Posted December 2, 2008 Report Posted December 2, 2008 Clean your pilots out or put 27.5's in it. Also check your air screw, 1.5 turns out. Quote
vulvafan537240 Posted December 3, 2008 Author Report Posted December 3, 2008 i took my filters off today and its still not any better. i cant even get it started. it just pops backfires and blows gas out of the left silencer. i didnt have alot of time to mess with it today and i have to work the next two days but ill take the carbs off friday when im off. i thought that if it got dirt in the pilot or main jet it would be lean though. im definitely not a carb expert so im probably wrong. AKheathen Posted December 5, 2008 Report Posted December 5, 2008 did you do anythingelse between the time it ran good, and when it started acting up? including a good washing. if it's dumping fuel, it's a safe bet there's some in the pipe. you'll have to clear that out and put new plugs in. Quote
travis6767 Posted December 5, 2008 Report Posted December 5, 2008 you may wanna check your reeds, just for shits and giggles Quote

You just need to take the carbs off and go through them and get it over with. Blow your jets out and check float and fuel valve seats. Quote
