  1. Dan at Patriot Racing was who did the work. But he had a machine shop do the gears. I had this done in 2005,and i have pretty close to the same amount into what you would pay for the override now.$100 for the Rz stuff,$175 for the other tranny mods, plus whatever Boonman charged to mod the shift star at the time. So $300 give or take was what i had into it all. Unless you are totally against getting a duneable,it would be easier and probably cheaper when it all comes down to it.If i would have known more about them then, thats probably what what i would have gotten. But i feel for me,what i had done was the better way to go.
  2. I don't have experience with any type of override,so i'm not sure what they are like. But in mine,i have a cut Rz drum and forks with a modded shift star, plus the trannny gears have been cut too.You can shift it fast or slow and its really smooth, doesn't have that notchy feel to it at all when shifting. If you have ever ridden a 250r,its like that, probably even better. The problem is finding the Rz stuff in good shape and getting it for a good price. I have a question too while we're on this subject. When you get a duneable done,do they just need the drum or the gears and everything too?I have my stock drug still and if thats all i need,i might have to try one out in the future.
  3. They won't compare to a good show chrome, but they have a nice shine to them.If you have ever seen a set of Po Circuits, thats what i would compare them to.I think they use a nickel type coating, its not as nice as a chrome, but it still looks good. Especially after a good polishing.
  4. I had mine done in 2004,so i'm not sure what it would be now.Mine were bare pipes to begin with,so they might charge extra to blast them.I paid $135 just for the pipes,no silencers.I think he told me it would have been like $150 if i would have gotten everything done at once. They are easy to take care of,clean with soap and water then you can polish them back up with Mother's or whatever polish you like.Mine aren't looking the best, but its my lack of keeping them cleaned up and polished.IF you do they once or twice a year, they should look good for a long time.
  5. I had my pipes done by Jet-Hot.Theres been quite a few posts on this,so you should be able to use the search to find more info on it.Heres a pic of what mine looked like,i got the sterling silver coating. One is with flash, one is without.
  6. I have the RPM axle on mine, but i have an aftermarket lock-nut and sprocket hub,but the stock stuff should fit.Its just a stock replacement, only probably 10 times stronger.Although i would replace the stock axle nut since it can be pain to get off,but thats me.
  7. If your racing motocross,i doubt you want either of those axles, they are more for drag racing or something where your not jumping.IF you want the strongest axle, you'll want to get the RPM Dominator axle. From what others have said about them in the past,i would stay away Dura-Blue.Another one you could check out is the Lone Star Axcalibar axle. Both the RPM and Lone Star both have a lifetime warranty. RPM Dominator Lone Star Axcalibar axle
  8. Dark Ranger,he still somewhat has a site up,just hosted by angelfire now. Quicksand MotorsportsI sent a message to Lefty to see if he knew if Gary was still making stuff, but haven't heard back from him.Theres an email address on there too,but i thought i had a different one when i got my swingarm from him.I have to check on my old computer to see if i still have it saved.I'd like to get a set of a-arms from him too.I know he was hard to get ahold of even when he was making them, but it was worth it.
  9. I have Pure for PS3 that i want to sell.Disc is brand new,no scratches or anything. Its $60 new so $45 plus probably $5 shipping. If the buyer wants the hat that came with it i'll throw it in too. I also have Soul Calibur 4 limited edition version. It comes in a metal tin with a poster,tshirt,comic/art book, and some type of download card. This was $80 new so i'd like to get $65 plus $7 shipping with it being a bigger package. They'll more than likely end up on Ebay if no one wants them here. I'll post some pics after i get home from work tonight.Paypal or postal money orders only.
  10. The choke and reverse were always messing up on the Mojave we had. Also the plastic part on the carb where the choke connects can break off easy and cause problems and make it spit and sputter. With what i know now about banshees,i wouldn't buy new,you can build one from the ground up the way you want and probably not have that much in it. Depending on how wild you want to go.
  11. Which one did you get.I thought about doing that to the extra Wii i have, but never really heard any feedback from anyone on modding the Wii.
  12. Stan,I'll take the throttle cover and if no one else got it,the brake resi cover.
  13. With UPS,they wouldn't even let me put insurance on my motor when i shipped it.They said it was a used item so it wouldn't be covered.Other than that,i never had a problem from them with not getting anything. With Fed Ex,it takes them an extra day or two to find my house, but never really had a problem with them either. I used DHL once to receive something and it came no problem. And i used them all the time for the bigger stuff i had to ship when i sold stuff on ebay.Only problem i had there was i shipped a front fender off a 3 wheeler and it got broken, but it was mostly my fault for not putting it in a box and only shrink-wrapping it.
  14. Dan @ Patriot Racing did mine too.I don't have anything fast to compare it to where i live, but it rips around pretty good. When i was stock stroke it made almost 60hp on a crappy dyno and way rich jetting. So i'm sure the 4mm version i have now would do much better.
  15. So all it needs is a motor, wiring harness and a rear caliper?Does it have any frame damage/damage that might make it not rideable? Send some pics to my Yahoo account, [email protected]
  16. I couldn't find the other post for some reason.Just wanted to remind everyone who is going to get your tickets before June 23rd.Otherwise the price jumps up quite a bit. I've read this year that Cam-Am is gonna have their Team Gorilla Axle mud bog team there this year.So the mud bogs should be pretty awesome this year, but they are gonna have to do some work to the pit for those guys.I know the year Mickey Dunlap was there on his 900cc Mudzilla he made the pit look like childsplay,so i know those guys would have no problem. I don't plan on riding, but i'll be there for the drags and mudbogs. If they happen to have the Dyno there again i might bring the banshee, but its doubtful. QUADFEST 2008
  17. IF they are the same length i'm sure you could, but i don't see why you would want to.The stock YFZ shocks would probably be better than Works set-up for a Wolverine.Especially if the YFZ shocks are the newer ones with all the adjustment.
  18. I have the RK Tech head on my stock banshee cylinders and he cuts the domes for how your motor is set-up and the type of fuel you want to run.You have to use his domes, they aren't inter-changeable like with other brands. And i believe only his o-rings will work too.I had a problem with mine leaking at first when i was using the stock head nuts, but Dan@Patriot Racing gave me some acorn nuts and it fixed that, hasn't leaked since.
  19. I bought a Wii for a friend but now he doesn't want it.If no one here wants it,i'm just gonna return it on Tuesday when i have a day off.I don't have the patience for Ebay, thats why i'm selling it on the sites i visit.I'm not looking to make any money on it,just what i paid.I just bought it on May 5th,so its the newest version with the remote cover already included. Price is $265,plus whatever shipping and insurance costs to your location. If anyone wants a pic,i can try to post one later if i can get it to upload,or i can email one.
  20. I have the same type of radar gun and i hit 80 and still had more to go,but i ran out of road.Plus i only had front brakes working so it was kinda unsafe as it was.I like to get a full run to see how much more it could have been.
  21. I think that has alot to do with it too.I had the hardest time with the lady at the UPS place when i would ship my motor out to have work done.I did it 3 different times and each time she had a different excuse on why she didn't want to send it.I'd always have to talk with her superior and then everything would be ok.Was such a big hassle.
  22. I've always had good luck using DHL and the Post Office.Like others have said, either shrink wrap them or fit them all in one package.I've always tried to find a box that they fit tight in,that way you don't have a bigger box than you need.
  23. For the most part, your gonna get raped no matter what you trade in.Even selling private, you'll never get as much as you'd like, especially if you have alot of mods. But you never know, the right person might come along and be exactly what they want.
  24. I would think the top hose would be the hot line.My case saver came with longer bolts and you just installed it over that cover.I have the Modquad aluminum saver.
  25. This site has a bunch of Divx stuff.Anything from movies,tv shows, music videos,Joox They normally have movies that are just in theaters and some are actually high quality.
