Keihin PWK's 28's bored to 30mm $250 shipped

These are bored straight through. Slides have some wear, but I ran them for at least 5 years, and I bought them used . I took some pics when I was cleaning them. -

Got some pics, I can get more if needed. I'll clean them up before sending, they have some dirt on them. -
I'd like to get rid of the carb set-up i've been using for a while. They are 28mm Keihin PWK's that have been bored to 30mm. They will come with K&N clamp-on filters, throttle cable, and Air Speed intakes. Everything is in good shape. Only issue I can think of is that the carb tops could be rethreaded. They aren't stripped, but are getting worn out from when I was messing with different needle positions, I just use lock washers so the bolts hold tight. I'd like to get $250 shipped and i'll have pics up after 4pm tomorrow.

Do you take trade-ins on the older style, lol? I'm liking those chrome ones.

Someone can delete this or the other post. Whichever one doesn't get replied to. I guess even when the site times out it still posts your stuff.

I have a Mattoon stock modified lock-up cover that recently started leaking on me and i would like to get it welded instead of trying to epoxy it again. I'd rather it be someone who has experience doing it. Let me know a price and i'll get back to you.

I'm not sure about difference in sizing, but the ones with stars are Genuine Keihin jets and the others are the generic ones.
-
I ordered my stuff from Sudco.com when I needed some stuff for mine. Genuine Keihin parts aren't cheap, so you could have quite a bit in parts if they are in bad shape.

Isn't the 4-1 offset what they use in GNCC and whatever else to make the front not as wide when using aftermarket arms to still be the correct width.

Calling him was never very successful,at least for me it wasn't. Email was the only way I was ever able to get ahold of him. Gary was like a lot of the motor builders on here, they have a real job during the day and then did that stuff in his free time in his shop.
-
If you do a search for it in Google the site still comes up,but the last time I talked to Lefty,he said Gary was no longer building parts.I'd like to eventually get a set of a-arms from him if he still does them. QuickSand Motorsports

Sounds like they just didn't want to mess with it.I shipped mine several times in a wooden crate and it weighed almost 100 pounds exactly and never had any problems about the weight. Kinda sounds like the way they are here too, they are only open 2 hours a day and they still act like your wasting their time.

I haven't had mine dynoed since i went to 4 mil,but i was told it should be around low to mid 70's or more depending on the set-up.

IMS used to sell a graphics kit that was for their tanks, but i'm not sure if they still do.I know what they used were thicker than normal and had breather holes in them so they wouldn't bubble off.You could maybe try doing that to whatever your putting on and see if they hold that way.
-
If you wanted to pay like $5 a piece i could probably get them .The dealer around here carries a good assortment of keihin jets, but i'm not sure what size he has up to.I might have the 170's but i'll have to check.
-
I'm glad you got them without any problems.I was kinda worried when she didn't give me any type of number to track it,but it all worked out.
-
I know the one dealer around here said he has to order a certain $$ amount or they charge him a fee.So he won't order just one thing and it takes forever to get something from him.
-
This is the only dyno sheet i have and its really not worth posting considering i should have gotten higher numbers.Part of it was my jetting was way off and the other part was the guys dyno was messed up,you can see that by the way the torque line is.It should have been close to mid 60's.Heres the mods i had at the time, but i would like to have it done again somewhere while i have it running good with the new mods. Dune port by Patriot Racing Stock stroke, maybe on 2nd overbore 30mm carbs with k&n clamp-ons vforce 2 reeds RK Tech head with race gas domes timing +4

The shock resi looks like it has PEP on it.Is it just the way the picture is or is your left tire on backwards? It looks like the tread is going the wrong way.
-
If you really want to sell it for $25 shipped,i would take it.Let me know.

As of now,Fireroad Express has things pretty much wrapped up on buying these. But to answer your questions, they are out both sides and they were used on i believe 400cc cylinders.I've never actually run these,so i don't know how they run either way.
